21.12.2015: 1st MCON ALUMNI Meet cum Election

The  1st MCON ALUMNI Meet cum Election was held on 21st December, 2015 at MCON class-room, Civil Hospital Aizawl. The meeting started with a prayer and the members who were present gave a brief self-introduction. The election was proceeded under the guidance of Mrs.Kapzawni, Sr.Lecturer. Thirteen names were nominated from the members out of which six persons were elected for the 1st MCON Alumni Office Bearers. 

The election was followed by a meeting regarding the rules and regulations of MCON Alumni. The meeting discussion was done regarding Alumni membership, membership fees, condolence, gifts, awards, term for OB and meet, information for Alumni members, career guidance.

A light refreshment was served. The members had a good interaction time sharing their experiences etc. There was a photo session and few members gave monetary donation for the alumni. .

There were 12 MCON Alumni members present alongwith two MCON Tutors who were incharge of Alumni & Placement cell and one Senior Lecturer.

10.02.2016: MCON ALUMNI OB Committee 

MCON Alumni Office Bearers (OB) committee was held on 10th February, 2016 at Nurses Seminar Room, Civil Hospital Aizawl. The OBs alongwith two MCON Alumni teachers incharge were present. The committee appointed fourteen committee members {two from each batch (1st -7th Batch)}

27.09.2016:  Participation in the MCON 29th Graduation & Lamp Lighting ceremony

The MCON Alumni members attended the MCON 29th Graduation & Lamp Lighting ceremony at the college and sponsored Academic Proficiency award and Best attendance award. The Proficiency award was given to JH Vanlalbeli, the Gold Medalist in the final B.Sc Nursing Mizoram University examination which carries a cash award of Rs. 5000, certificates and memento worth Rs.500.The Best Attendance Award which carries a cash award of Rs. 1000, certificates and memento worth Rs.500.was also given to her for having hundred percent attendance in clinical duty and theory classes for the entire four years course of  B.Sc Nursing programme.

03.10.2016: Career Awareness with MCON students 

Career Awareness with MCON students was organised by the MCON Alumni incharge. Ms. Lalbiakdiki Fenate, who works as a Sub Inspector/ Staff Nurse at Dehradun Composite Hospital, Indo Tibetan Border Police Force shared her experience. There was an interaction time in which the students were given an opportunity to ask questions and shared their opinions.

03.11.2017: Participation in the MCON 30th Graduation & Lamp Lighting ceremony

The MCON Alumni members attended the MCON 30th Graduation & Lamp Lighting ceremony at the college and sponsored Best Attendance Award to seven graduating students- Malsawmtluangi, Grace Lallawmzuali, Helen Lalremruati, RD Vanlalruati, Lalnunsiami and K.Lalrinmawii which carries a cash award of Rs. 1000, certificates and memento worth Rs.500. The members had an interaction with the outgoing students.

08.12.2017: MCON ALUMNI Committee 

MCON Alumni committee was held on 18th December, 2017 at Nurses Seminar Room, Civil Hospital Aizawl. Four (4) members attended the committee alongwith one MCON Alumni teacher incharge. The committee decided to postpone ALUMNI meet due to several circumstances.

12.09.2018: Participation in the MCON 31st  Graduation & Lamp Lighting ceremony

The MCON Alumni members attended the MCON 31st Graduation & Lamp Lighting ceremony at the college and sponsored Proficiency award which carries a cash award of Rs. 5000, certificates and memento worth Rs.500 to Vanlalnunziri who is the Gold Medalist in the final B.Sc Nursing Mizoram University examination  Best attendance awards which carries a cash award of Rs. 1000, certificates and memento worth Rs.500 to Five graduating students Lalrozauvi, Zothanpuii,PB Lalhmangaihzuali, Samuel Vanlalpeka and VT Nathani who have a hundred percentage attendance both in theory classes  and clinical duty during their four years of studying B.Sc Nursing course (2014-2018).

18.12.2018: 2nd  ALUMNI Meet cum Election

The 2nd  ALUMNI Meet cum Election was held on 18th December,2018 at MCON Faculty Room MIMER. Fifteen Alumni members and three teaching faculties from the college attended the meet. The programme started with a prayer by Ms. Lalrintluangi, Lecturer followed by a brief self-introduction. The members made floor nominations and the election was started under the guidance of the teachers (Ms.Laldinthari, Returning Officer and Ms.Lalrintluangi, Polling officer). Six members were elected and the post was made among themselves. The election was followed by a meeting which discussed topics related to the rules and regulations, activities. After the meeting refreshment was served and the members had a great time.
